Nate Lanxon's back with the latest music videos once again, and in this episode it's as if he stepped back in time as we're treated to big hair, smoke machines and synth lines a-plenty with New Zealand's answer to Berlinda Carlisle, Ladyhawke, and her latest single 'Back of the Van'. Next up is Delays with 'Everything's the Rush', the video to which was directed by Lee Lennox, who did a brilliant video for The Presets last year; and finally we round off with some chart-friendly pop with Roisin Murphy's 'You Know Me Better'.

This week music video fans we've got three little beauties for you. First up is the debut video from Black Kids, one of 2008's most exciting new bands, whose first single, I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You comes out on 7 April. This is followed by the twin pioneers of electronic preaching and exceptional facial hair, Dan Le Sac and Scroobius Pip, with their video Look For The Woman; and bringing up the rear are Young Galaxy, whose track Come And See is out as a single next month. Young Galaxy's eponymous debut album was released last year on Arts & Crafts, and this track, 'Come and See', from the album, is out as a single next month. The video was directed by fellow French Canadians Felix & Paul, whose other work includes ad campaigns for Adidas, as well as other French music videos.

'Look for the Woman' is bleepmaker Dan Le Sac and his rapping friend Scroobius Pip's brilliant new single, out on 28 April. It'll be be closely followed by their album launch, Angles, on 12 May, and between now and then you can catch them on their UK tour, playing numerous dates from Exeter right up to Glasgow in April, before heading over to Ireland early May. Nate Lanxon is back with three fine new music videos, packaged up in a perfectly wrapped parcel for you to view. First up is Supergrass – no, they're not dead – with their new track 'Bad Blood', which sees them go from normal to weird in the space of three minutes; closely followed by Johnny Flynn, with his cute, quirky take on 'Leftovers'; and bringing up the rear are those French romantics John & Jehn, who sing about '20L07', which is all about love... and stuff. In this week's episode of Encoded's Video View, we take a look at the latest release from eccentric popster and friend of the stars Santogold, whose video for 'LES Artistes' features a random horse; check in with those wee whippersnappers Tiny Masters of Today, and their new video 'Hologram World', starring zombie parents; and wonder what on earth is going on in Late of the Pier's 'The Bears Are Coming', which takes us on a dark journey into the forest, with badgers and owls and stuff... All, frankly, quite weird.

We've lovingly picked our top three music videos of the week and, once again, with the help of Nate Lanxon, packed them into a tight little video jam jar, ready for you to view at your leisure. First up is 'Grounds For Divorce', the cheerfully named new single from Elbow, the video to which sees the band gigging in a classic 70s-style British boozer; 'Get Over It' is next on our list – it's the latest offering from experimental Scottish popsters Guillemots; and finally the amazing video for Neon Neon's 'I Lust U', which documents the tragic events at a jellyfish competition, had us transfixed. The Last Shadow Puppets – 'The Age of the Understatement'

'The Age of the Understatement', out on 21 April on Domino, is the debut release from the LP of the same name by the so-hot-right-now The Last Shadow Puppets, aka Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys fame and Miles Kane from The Rascals. The video is directed by Romain Gavras and it tracks the duo's adventures in Moscow, mystically combining a figure skater, an Orthodox priest and Soviet tanks.
