Former Test Icicle Devonte Hynes, now going under the name of Lightspeed Champion, dropped by CNET TV headquarters this week and treated us to four tracks from his new album, Falling Off the Lavender Bridge. Radically different to the sound of his earlier band, Lightspeed's sound is a wonderful mix of indie rock and country folk influences that should keep fans of Bright Eyes, Will Oldham and Bill Callahan happy until the cows come home.

'Tell Me What It’s Worth' is the third single from Lightspeed Champion, released on 14 January 2008. The track is taken from the forthcoming debut album, Falling Off The Lavender Bridge, which was recorded in Omaha, Nebraska with producer Mike Mogis and is set for release on 21 January 2008.
