Video View: Supergrass, Johnny Flynn and John & Jehn
Nate Lanxon is back with three fine new music videos, packaged up in a perfectly wrapped parcel for you to view. First up is Supergrass – no, they're not dead – with their new track 'Bad Blood', which sees them go from normal to weird in the space of three minutes; closely followed by Johnny Flynn, with his cute, quirky take on 'Leftovers'; and bringing up the rear are those French romantics John & Jehn, who sing about '20L07', which is all about love... and stuff. Enjoy!

Hello there promotional music video lovers, I'm Nate Lanxon and this is my promotional music video show.
First up this week is the latest video from a band I thought had died years ago! It's Supergrass, who are apparently still writing indie dancefloor fillers after 14 weary years in the business.
'Bad Blood' is out now and is the second single to be taken from their latest album Diamond Hoo Ha. The video starts off in a dizzying manner following reel from some antiquated recording apparatus. We then cut to the band, who all look remarkably good for their age, because by all rights, they should be looking a lot more shrivelled than this.
Just as you think this is just another standard performance video, it starts going a bit mental. The camera starts sticking to things, like a quality adhesive applied sparingly to a clean, dry surface. If you're thinking 'WTF, how did they do this?' there's a rather interesting explanation over at keithschofield.com.
'Waste not, want not', as my dear old grandma used to say. Also in agreement with this old pearl of wisdom is Johnny Flynn, whose latest single 'Leftovers' seems to champion the idea of using up surplus food.
This release is out now and is the second official release from his band, following debut single 'The Box'.
The track is a slightly weird tale of boy meets girl, all delivered in a Johnny's jangly kind of way, and the video fits in nicely with its jerky stop motion effect and the timeless get-up that everyone is rocking. Also note the miniature band under the table who provide some dinner ambiance, at the cost of leg room, of course.
Finally, let's get all French and arty with the latest video from London-based lovebirds John & Jehn.
This is their latest single '20L07', which is taken from their soon-to-be-released debut album.
Just in case you can't see how much in love they are from this moody-noir video, they've split the album into Side John and Side Jehn, to really ram the 'you complete me' analogy right down your gagging throats.
Okay, see you next week chaps, by the time you see this I will have eaten my weight is Easter eggs and may be have put on a stone or three. I implore you not to tease. Bye.
