In the show this week we take a cheery look at videos from post-britpop twosome Blood Red Shoes, whose single 'You Bring Me Down' takes things to a darker place; The Young Knives, who kick some butt in 'Up All Night'; and Editors, who want you to 'Push Your Head Towards The Air', in slow motion. Hi, I'm Nate Lanxon, and this is my AMAZING videos of the week show.

The first video we're going to look at today is the new one from post-britpop twosome Blood Red Shoes, who re-release 2006's 'You Bring Me Down' with this paranoid new promo.

The single came out about two weeks ago, but the video has only really started doing the rounds now. It was directed by Chris Sweeney, the man behind the amazing zombie gore-em-up for Ghost Frequency's last single, and once again he can't help taking things to a darker place.

Next up are The Young Knives, who as it turns out, all look strangely like Mark Corrigan from Peep Show. However, that can only be a good thing, so here's the video to their latest single, 'Up All Night'.

It sees the band playing some rock 'n' roll music to a room of unimpressed scenesters, who all seem more concerned with their hairstyles and brightly coloured sunglasses than the musical spectacle in front of them. The band valiantly carry on, until, that is, one of the crowd throws a loaded projectile at them. This flips a switch, causing a succession of roundhouse kicks to the face and deadly one-inch punches.

Finally, our last video is by everyone's second-favourite Joy Division knock-off, Editors – the oh-so-serious Birmingham outfit, who'd struggle to lighten up if they shed half their bodyweight like some kind of indie snake skin. Anyhow, here's the video to their latest single 'Push Your Head Towards The Air'.

Watching this video feels a bit like when you accidentally walk into a video art installation at the Tate Modern and have to stand there until it finishes. Apart from it never finishes, it just goes on forever.

Right, I'm depressed now, so I'm off the park to throw a frisbee to cheer myself up. See you next week.
