Hi, I'm Nate Lanxon and welcome to this week's live guide.
Leeds alt-rockers Forward Russia have announced they'll be touring in April. Kicking off in Glasgow's King Tut's on the 15th and ending at Nottingham's Rescue Rooms on the 29th.
The Zutons will be earning their environmental stripes in June with a seven-date, self-sustaining forest tour. With the aid of the forestry commission, the psychedelic Scousers aim to raise awareness of Britain's woodlands and make a bit of cash for the cause too. All the details are on www.forestry.gov.uk/music.
Button pusher and poet Dan Le Sac and Scroobius Pip head out on their biggest headline tour to date in April, spreading the word about their debut album, which comes out in May.
That Duffy girl's next. She's just announced another tour. Yes, that's right, if you're not sick of this ubiquitous crooner just yet, you will be by June the 4th. That's when her third tour in four months comes to a close. Oh, and then she'll be doing all the festivals. It's a good job she's very likable, otherwise I would stalk her and kill her...
Speaking of kill, those post-punk revivalists The Kills have an April tour too, visiting all the usual haunts. Edinburgh is the first port of call on the 15th, and they'll be snaking their way down to Oxford by the 27th.
Finally, The Boss himself, Mr Bruce Springsteen, has announced some more UK tour dates for 2008, tickets for which you can buy from seetickets.com. Being quite a famous bloke, they're all at big football stadiums, with Manchester's Old Trafford, North London's Emirates and Cardiff's Millennium Stadium all seeing a piece of the action.
This would be a good place to insert a joke about Bruce playing left wing, or even more tenuously about getting into the box and scoring, but I'll spare you, and see you next week.
