Hi, I'm Nate Lanxon and this is Encoded's guide to the best live music coming up across the UK over the next few months.

Love-them-or-hate-them electro brats The Teenagers will be spending most of April and May in the UK after announcing two tours. They'll be headlining eight dates starting in Manchester on 1 April before heading out to California for this year's Coachella Festival.

Nashville tearaways Be Your Own Pet will be back in the UK briefly next month for a handful of shows, kicking off at Manchester University on the 25 March. Their second album, Get Awkward, is out on the 17th.

Brighton's multi-venue city centre celebration of new music, or the Barfly-sponsored Great Escape as I like to call it, have begun to announce the acts for this year's do. Bands so far confirmed include Crystal Castles, Young Knives and The Hold Steady. Early Bird tickets for the festival, which is on the 15, 16 and 17 May, only cost £35, and can be bought from ticketweb now.

Finally, Brit School graduate and flavour of the month Adele has announced her first proper UK tour. The party starts in Cardiff on the 23 April, with the final curtain falling in London on the 6 May. Tickets are available from all the major ticket websites.

Until next time people, take it easy!
