Lightspeed Champion
Former Test Icicle Devonte Hynes, now going under the name of Lightspeed Champion, dropped by CNET TV headquarters this week and treated us to four tracks from his new album, Falling Off the Lavender Bridge. Radically different to the sound of his earlier band, Lightspeed's sound is a wonderful mix of indie rock and country folk influences that should keep fans of Bright Eyes, Will Oldham and Bill Callahan happy until the cows come home.
