It was inevitable that John Rambo would make his own comeback. Confusingly, this fourth movie in the series that started with First Blood is simply called Rambo, but that's the most unusual thing about it. Elsewhere, it's business as usual as our meat-headed killing machine takes on another bunch of interchangeable democracy-hating foreign scum. In this case, it's the Burmese military

Director Roland Emmerich takes some poetic license with history as he brings his vision of pre-historic adventure to cinemas this spring. Cavemen with American accents, giant sabretooth tigers and huge battle sequences featuring hundreds of rampaging mammoths may not be an accurate portrayal of the past, but it might be an entertaining one.

George A. Romero reboots his own series of zombie movies with this low-budget telling of a bunch of college friends trying to get to safety after hearing the news that the dead are returning to life. Told in a similar "found footage" style to Cloverfield and The Blair Witch Project, Diary of the Dead looks set to satisfy the crowds of old Romero fans while bringing his apocalyptic vision to a whole new audience.

There's no mistaking where the Samsung F700 takes its design inspiration from it's a dead ringer for the iPhone. But while Apple's phone is hamstrung by its limited EDGE system, the F700 has full-blooded HSDPA mobile broadband. Can its interface bear the same comparison, though?
CES: Kenwood goes to town on a 1956 Chevy Bel Air
Crave TV | 17 January 2008
CNET.co.uk's Rory Reid was caught drooling over this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and for good reason. It may look pretty standard on the outside, but inside it has a fully motorised dashboard. Hit the button on the key fob, and out pops a tray containing an Xbox 360 controller and an iPod nano. From here, you can enjoy a spot of Halo 3 on the 7-inch in-dash display, or bump some 'choons' through the speakers, which seem to be located in every possible orifice of the car.

It might have fallen off the ugly tree and hit several particularly grotesque branches on the way down, but the Nokia N82 is all about substance over style. It's got HSDPA and Wi-Fi for mobile broadband, GPS that just works and most importantly the best camera we've ever seen in a phone.

Duke Nukem's comedy catchphrases finally make a comeback in this long-awaited fourth installment of the first-person shooter series from Take-Two Interactive. 3D Realms has famously struggled with Duke Nukem Forever it has taken over 10 years to make it out of development, during which time it went through a number of internal rewrites. The question on everyone's lips is, 'Can the modern-day Duke make up for lost time?'. If the trailer's anything to go by they've got a way to go.
Movie Review: Charlie Wilson's War
Reel Weekend | 11 January 2008
Tom Hanks stars in the story of Charles Wilson, a womanising, party-loving Democratic congressman, who in the early 80s led a campaign to arm the freedom fighters of Afghanistan in their fight against the pesky Soviets. Legendary director Mike Nichols works from a script by West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin in a spiky satire that is already attracting awards attention. Julia Roberts and Philip Seymour Hoffman complete the excellent supporting cast.
