Movie Review: Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story
Reel Weekend | 18 January 2008
Walk Hard is a spoof of the musical biopic, most notably the Johnny Cash movie Walk The Line, but with elements of Ray, The Rutles and of course This Is Spinal Tap thrown in for good measure. Its the story of Dewey Cox, a good ol' boy from the wrong side of the tracks, and his ascent through the world of country music. John C Reilly gives the character of Dewey far more depth than youd expect, and embraces the chance to make himself looks ridiculous in nearly every scene.

It might have fallen off the ugly tree and hit several particularly grotesque branches on the way down, but the Nokia N82 is all about substance over style. It's got HSDPA and Wi-Fi for mobile broadband, GPS that just works and most importantly the best camera we've ever seen in a phone.
CES: Watch two things at once with DLP
Crave TV | 15 January 2008
It sounds confusing, but new technology from Texas Instruments brand DLP means you can use one TV to display two totally different signals at the same time. It sounds like witchcraft until you hear about the special glasses. These essentially have an electronic shutter system that blocks out light from the TV 50 percent of the time. This means, using a 120Hz DLP rear-projection TV, you can have two full 1080p signals being viewed by two different people on one TV. CNET.co.uk's Ian Morris investigates.

Game Trailers | 14 January 2008
The next Star Wars game from LucasArts employs next-gen technology to bring the Force to life in an explosive new way. CES: Alienware's bad boy ALX PC and curved display
Crave TV | 09 January 2008
Alienware wowed CNET.co.uk at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas with not one, but two incredible pieces of technology. First up was its 42-inch Curved Display, which redefines the term widescreen. It's curved like an enormous pair of wrap-around shades -- the idea being that it provides a more immersive gaming experience. And last but not least was the Alienware ALX -- which drew a pretty big crowd because of the sheer outlandishness of its specification and the awesome styling of its new P2 chassis. Take a look for yourself...
